The Englishman nailed a crucial birdie putt from just over eight foot to clinch the win, echoing his sole prior tournament triumph at the 2020 Scottish Open, which was likewise a play-off victory against Fleetwood.

Højgaard fired six birdies of his own, but his chances of topping the standings were dented by a bogey on the twelfth. English golfer Mansell hit an excellent final-round 63 to finish tied for fifth with Australian Hillier.
