Parker, who turns 34 in January, said: “This is all or nothing. I am not focused on a loss. I have respect for my rival and what he has done and how he has prepared for this contest. But I am on a superior tier and I am planning to demonstrate it on the day of the bout.”

Wardley’s Outlook

Wardley will be 31 in December, and he said: “This is a monumental event for the both of us. It is obviously the biggest fight of my professional life and the biggest fight of my life. But each time I rise to the occasion I rise to the occasion. The upcoming fight will be no exception. The divide between where Joe is and my perceived standing has been a recurring narrative in my boxing life.

“He's a seasoned veteran for a extended duration, with a numerous contests on his resume.
