Salah Offers Regret to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the group of players in the wake of the controversy from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has previously declined to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.

Jones insisted that the team's response remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
He also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. Jones believes the outburst were not intended to harm the team.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, the source has been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, getting results and starting to win games.”
